I’ve been in the design industry over +4 years creating meaninful projects and experiences that help rethink, redesign, explore and improve people’s lives.
Born & raised in Peru.
Curious by nature.
Passion for graphics.
Driven by divergent thinking.

I started my professional career in design back in 2017 as an architect working in different architecture studios. Few years later, I became an entrepreneur and co-founded two startups: impostergable, a consultancy in urban strategy and innovation; and i’mappin, a smart urban platform that maps city slums. This entreneurship trip gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of talented people and to work with amazing clients from around the world.
During that time, I started developing interest in product design, user experience and visual design. Since then, I’ve been working as a lead designer, graphic designer, communications specialist, brand designer and consultant in different design projects.
I enjoy working on projects that have a positive impact on people and its surroundings. Most of all, I strive to work with individuals who have different backgrounds and interests because I know I will learn something from them and I also firmly believe that diverse teams produce the best results.

Each project is different. Every problem or need requires a new approach, but the process never changes. Here is how i tackle each design challenge.
The first step is to understand the client requirements and goals, define the problem or design challenge to be adressed and align the project goals with the business goals. Empathy is key in this stage as well as keeping in mind a human-centered -approach.
This is the time to observe, investigate, collect and gather all the information needed aout the user, the context and the market for the project. Then comes the analysis of the observations and data and later synthesize them and define the main insights to solve the problem.
Now, we’re ready to brainstorm and generate all kinds of ideas using different tools and methods. This is when I start thinking “outside of the box” and looking for alternative ways to view the problem and identify innovative solutions.
Turning an idea into reality is one of my favorite stages of the design process. This is where I put my hands on track to create and prototype the best possible solution for the project. Mostly this could involve storyboards, wireframes and lots of sketching.
Another key step of my design process is to test the prototype or get feedback from target users about the design solution. With these results, we can redefine the problem, improve, refine and add features to the solution.
